After two seasons at Haras du Petit Tellier, and following its sale, Muhaarar will stand at Haras de Montaigu for the 2026 breeding season.
This exceptional sprinter, trained by Charles Hills for Shadwell, won seven races in total, including four at the highest level, in major contests such as the July Cup G1, Prix Maurice de Gheest G1, Commonwealth Cup G1, and British Champions Sprint Stakes G1.
By the champion OASIS DREAM out of a LINAMIX mare, this outcross has also proven himself as a top-class sire. He has already produced four G1 winners: MARHABA YA SANAFI, winner of the 2023 Poule d’Essai des Poulains; A DREAM TO SHARE, a two-time G1 winner over bumpers in Ireland and England; ESHAADA, winner of the 2021 British Champions Fillies & Mares Stakes; and BE YOUR BEST, a G1 and G2 winner in the United States in 2025.
A proven stallion, MUHAARAR is established as one of the leading sires in France, continuing to shine on the track through his progeny. In 2025, he had 11 black-type performers, ranking 3rd among French stallions by number of Black Type horses, only behind ZARAK and SIYOUNI. He is sire of 32 black-type winners.
Among his best performers this year are BE YOUR BEST, a new G1 winner; MOTORIOUS, a two-time G3 winner from just two starts; and the two-year-old CLEA CHOPE, a Listed winner.
During his two seasons at Haras du Petit Tellier, Muhaarar covered 235 mares, including over 45 Black Type mares or mares of black-type lineage. He was therefore able to cover top-class broodmares and earn the trust of Europe’s leading breeders, including Newsells Park Stud, Jean-Claude Seroul, Al Asayl Stud, Kildaragh Stud, Haras de Meautry, Philipp Stauffenberg, Wertheimer & Frère, Rabbah Bloodstock, Haras des Monceaux, while maintaining strong support from Shadwell, Haras des Capucines, and the Dubois family.
